Judge Curry served in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where he presided over hundreds of business, commercial, and administrative law cases—both bench and jury trials. His judicial experience is built on more than a decade of service marked by a deep understanding of complex civil litigation.

Before joining the bench, Judge Curry practiced law for over 30 years as a civil trial attorney at national law firms, focusing on business, commercial, administrative, banking, probate, negligence, personal injury, and general civil litigation. During his legal career, he earned an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell for professional excellence and ethics, and was recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Chicago by the Leading Lawyers Network.

Judge Curry brings a wealth of experience in resolving disputes, having facilitated settlements in hundreds of civil, business, and commercial cases. He now dedicates his mediation and arbitration practice to helping parties resolve complex civil matters. His combined background as a trial attorney and judge allows him to skillfully apply both evaluative and facilitative techniques, fostering confidence and encouraging resolution throughout the mediation process.
